Let’s be honest, no matter how much you love your wedding dress, you’re probably only going to wear it for about eight hours. Considering the massive expense of most bridal gowns, many newlyweds have wondered about the possibility of putting these perfectly good and very fine vestments to use for someone else. Now, White Chicago (222 W. Huron St.; 312-397-1571), a new high-end bridal shop, offers consignment of high-end wedding dresses, headpieces, and veils. The shop has put out a call for dresses that retailed for $2,000 or more, that are less than 4 years old (or vintage), and in pristine condition. White Chicago also sells some new gowns.
