Who Can Consign:
- Anyone from anywhere (US or abroad) with a designer dress
- Those with never-worn dresses
- Those not successful with an Internet venture
- Designers and manufacturers with samples
- Wedding boutiques with excess inventory
- Stores/designers with discontinued dresses
- Designer wedding boutiques that are closing
How To Consign:
- white CHICAGO accepts designer wedding dresses and veils.
- Appointments are recommended. You can also fill out a Drop and Dash form for quick and easy consignment. For out-of-town brides, we accept dresses and veils that are shipped. All gowns must be pre-qualified, so please call or email us before drop-off or shipping.
- Gowns must be:
- New or up to four years old (Exceptions will be made
for classic styles and hard-to-find sizes)
- Dry Cleaned and in “like-new” condition
- Free from imperfections
- Most items will be priced 30-70% off the retail price. We request an original sales receipt and/or tags at the time of consignment to aid in determining a fair sales price. If this is not possible, pricing will be researched and a consignment price will be determined.
- At white CHICAGO’s discretion, all consigned gowns will be subject to a reduction in price. There will be an established lowest price that is mutually agreed upon by both parties.
- Gowns will be kept for nine months.
- Consignor will receive 50% of net sales.
- Checks will be issued on the 15th of every month for the previous month of sale.
- Depending on client wishes, items may be sent to a charity or returned to the consignor at the end of the consignment period.
- Consignor will be contacted at provided contact information after allotted time for gown pickup. If gown is not picked up within one month of contact, consignor’s dress will be donated.
- white CHICAGO assumes no liability for loss, damage or destruction of any items on consignment while in store’s possession.

Download white’s Drop and Dash form. It’s simple and convenient. Complete the form, e-mail or fax us a copy and we will contact you to set up a time to drop off your gown. Once we have your form and the gown we will contact you within a few days to finalize the consignment.
